On Friday, October 15, 2021, Corwin Law, a national consumer advocacy firm located in Boca Raton, Florida, filed a national class action suit on behalf of Spirit Airlines ticket purchasers. The case is captioned as; Amber Terreta and Debra Rayner v. Spirit Airlines, Inc., Case number 0:21-cv-62148-JEM.

The lawsuit alleges that Spirit Airlines sold tickets to travelers knowing that there existed staff storages and IT issues forcing the cancelation of thousands of flights and leaving tens of thousands of passengers stranded.

The class action complaint is open to residents of all fifty (50) states and alleges the following:
