On June 9th, 2021, Corwin Law, a national consumer advocacy firm located in Boca Raton, Florida, filed a national class action suit on behalf of owners and lessees of the 2021 Hyundai Genesis GV80 luxury SUV. The case is captioned as Dr. Barbara Feinstein v. Hyundai Motor Company Hyundai Motor America and Genesis Motor America, LLC; United States District Court, District of Maryland case number 1:21-CV-1436.

The lawsuit alleges that Hyundai Genesis sold and leased the 2021 Genesis GV80 knowing that there existed design and manufacturing defects that left owners and lessees with a vehicle offering subpar performance, including driving instability, shaking, shuddering, vibrating and difficult steering.

The class action complaint is open to residents of all fifty (50) states and alleges the following:

  • Violations of State Consumer Protection Laws
